After returning colorways influenced by Shaquille O’Neal’s tenure with both the Orlando Magic and Los Angeles Lakers, Reebok is continuing to drum up propositions of the four-time Champions’ Shaq Attaq inspired by his various organizational stops in the NBA. Recently, the high-top silhouette imbued with the brand’s heralded Pump technology took on the hues of Shaq’s four-year stint with the Miami Heat.
Embarking upon a reminiscent South Beach palette, the orange and pink shades that dressed the Heat’s alternate Floridian uniforms from the 2006 season now return for a reimagined take on the OG ensemble. Introduced with monochrome flair via a crisp white base layer and jet-black overlays, the pair’s titular grandeur interjects the stitching of the mid-foot, tongue tab, sections of the tread and heel’s embroidered logo with hot pink. Elsewhere, the jersey’s two titular side stripes are complimented by a bright orange finish anchoring the medial side of the tongue and rubber quarter.
Scheduled to release for a retail price of $180 on May 12th, in the meantime enjoy official imagery of the Reebok Shaq Attaq “Miami Heat” below.
In other news, club promoter and DJ Zack Bia recently previewed his collaborative take on the Nike Air Max Pulse inspired by a CDJ.
