A-COLD-WALL* Covers The Converse Aeon Active CX In “Carbon”

A-COLD-WALL* Covers The Converse Aeon Active CX In “Carbon”

Samuel Ross has been delivering experimental styles via his A-COLD-WALL* imprint for a handfuls of years. Most recently, the English brand has lent its creative vision to the Converse Aeon Active CX, an experimental design envisioning the future of running footwear.

Previously launched in a “Black/Green Apple” color scheme, the robust silhouette has appeared in another dark-colored arrangement. The pair maintains all of his eye-catching design cues, which intentionally disregard the aesthetics often associated with performance sneakers, but boasts shades of black, grey, and other dark hues. Silver bits across the upper inject a reflective functionality into the Converse model, while also cementing Ross’ label amongst the Boston-based brand’s roster of collaborators. Underfoot, the CX sole unit also opts for a muted look, although a section at the mid-foot introduces light grey to the bottom-half. Lastly, traction at the forefoot fairs a semi-translucent, dark green color that also contributes to the sneaker’s futuristic aesthetic.

Enjoy retailer photography of the pair ahead, as you wait for converse.com and select shop launches on Monday, May 9th.
