The adidas Consortium Program Gives The adidas Rivalry “Core Black” And “Chalk White” Makeovers

The Three Stripes has been innovating on various fronts for decades, with the most recent years seeing advancements in basketball and running footwear. Yet, the brand continues to revisit its past, retroing silhouettes like the adidas Rivalry in special and general makeups.

Ahead of summer, the German sportswear label’s Consortium program has reimagined the classic basketball silhouette in “Core Black” and “Chalk White” ensembles. adidas Consortiumed in both Hi and Lo trims, the sneaker features premium leather construction across the upper. The bulk of the uppers across all four adidas Consortium options opt for uniform arrangements, although tongues and profile 3-Stripes deliver contrast to their respective pairs. Underfoot, the Rivalry Hi and Lo styles opt for an off white sole unit that harkens back to the model’s debut in 1986.
