Since their founding a little less than two decades ago, Dime has teamed up with several of the sneaker industry’s biggest names: New Balance, Vans, Reebok, and soon even the Three Stripes.
“It’s both humbling and an incredible honor to have partnered with a global and respected brand like adidas Skateboarding for this collection,” said Dime’s Mark Regimbal. “We had full access to their deep catalog and resources that opened our world to endless artistic possibilities. We loved working with adidas and featuring our city for the world to see. At the end of the day it should be about contributing to communities positively with premium products and we hope this collection does just that.”
For the better part of the last few years, Dime has cultivated a relatively long-standing relationship with Reebok, applying their playful graphics to silhouettes the likes of the Workout Plus. Now, the Montreal-based label is bringing their love of Ecce Homo’s botched restoration to not one but two neutral colorways of the Superstar ADV. And in addition to said print — which sits atop the tongue within a “Dime” branded frame — the pair features a subtle wave-inspired design that flows through the patent stripes and vertically up the heel tab.
Rounded out with a Superfire Track Top and a matching Track Pant, the Dime x adidas collection will be available on May 13th exclusively through dimemtl.com before seeing a global launch on May 14th via adidas.com and select skate shops.
