Jovani Hernandez First teased via mock-up in early-September 2022, the Air Jordan 1 “Washed Black” is set to release on June 10th.
As the sneaker’s unofficial moniker suggests, the retro’s upper is covered in a faded black suede that further expands the Air Jordan line’s off-court appeal. The grey-like hue is contrasted by all-white base layers, as well as a light grey color at the collars. Stark red flair enters the mix via traditional “NIKE AIR” branding on the tongue. Underfoot, the oft-imitated sole unit indulges in an off white midsole that contributes to the Jordan 1’s “vintage” aesthetic; the outsole opts for a tried-and-proven black finish.
