Jovani Hernandez The Swoosh has demonstrated that it isn’t afraid to change up iconic designs. As part of its relaunch of the Nike Air Adjust Force, the Oregon-based institution has reimagined the classic basketball silhouette as a women’s sandal.
Recently surfaced in “Linen/Tan” and “Black/Metallic Gold,” the offering screams “summertime.” Furthermore, the sandal is yet another display of performance heritage being married with modern style. The slip-on mode features the same general “upper” as the original from 1996, but tooling is entirely reworked. The robust midsole and outsole combination gives the Air Adjust Force Sandal a platform appearance, likely an attempt to appeal to bold fashionistas. Like on the original performance shoe, the women’s-exclusive features a removable strap across the mid-foot, allowing for a sleeker look when removed.
No firm nike.com launch details have been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change soon. While you wait for details, enjoy official photos of the pairs ahead.
