Jared Ebanks After more than 40 years on the market, the Nike Air Force 1 continues to drum up a diverse range of styles, such as its Shadowed counterpart. While the aforementioned heavily layered ensemble has been relatively reserved throughout 2023, the reworked Bruce Kilgore design recently underwent a vintage knife.
Breathing an old-school aesthetic within the futuristic silhouette, a collection of differing “Sail” shades consume the doubled-up nubuck and leather overlays while further consuming the echoed sole unit underfoot. Casting its embroidered Swoosh in the repeating buttercream tint, a bit of flair from the University of Miami comes injected within the added tumbled leather Checks and heel tab. As such, a deep forest green hue animates the lateral side, tongue tab and heel while its medial insignia indulges in a vibrant orange outfit.
