First teased in late December 2022, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Craft “Vibrations of Naija” has finally surfaced via official photos.
The pair is expected to release on May 27, and pays homage to Nigeria. Clad in shades of white and off white, the latest take on the original Air Jordan model is simple. Yet, swooshes on the sidewalls and panels around the ankle deviate in a fabric construction that delivers a contrasting finish. The Jumpman family hasn’t disclosed the backstory behind the design cue, but its textured and complex arrangement falls in line with past drops from the Quai 54 collection, a series that’s commemorated the continent of Africa. “Wings” logos, tongue and collar trims, laces, and outsoles all boast a cream-colored touch that injects an “aged” aesthetic into the special Air Jordan 1.
Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, as you wait for a Nike SNKRS launch in May.
