Michael Le From Nike all the way to New Balance, it seems the entire sneaker industry is getting ready for Summer vacation. And in the case of the Boston-based footwear brand, no trip to the beach would be complete without the 550.
Dressing up in a colorway more than appropriate for the occasion, this New Balance 550 is constructed with a wide range of materials. Hairy suedes dress the heel, leathers the mid-panel and toe, and mesh the tongue as well as the inserts around the collar. These alternate between white and a few different shades of tan, all of which complement the olive touches of the “N” logo and adjacent trims.
