From its Shadow offshoots to the recent inclusion of Jewel Swooshes, the Nike Air Force 1’s typically clad leather construction has been toyed with time and time again throughout its 40-year history. Recently, a trio of mesh, tumbled leather and suede crashed ashore the iconic Bruce Kilgore design invigorating a contemporary, summer-ready update.
Establishing a few of the model’s tried-and-true elements, the tumbled leather base layer and fully mesh tongue construction assume a crisp white introduction while tan-treated suede overlays offer an elegant compliment. Buttercream accents appear throughout dressing a number of fixtures including the tongue trim, collar lining, laces and tread underfoot. Elsewhere gold-tinted branding is strewn across the forefoot and heel for a hint of luxury in tandem with the color-matched dubraes whereas dark navy mid-foot Swooshes and heel tabs provide a necessary contrast to the otherwise illuminated effort.
Scheduled to drop for a retail price of $110, enjoy official images of the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Tan/Navy” below as we await further release details in the meantime.
In other news from underneath the Nike Sportswear banner, the classic “Black/White” colorway of the Nike Air More Uptempo is set to receive a few updates.
