Sneaker News A BATHING APE is helping kick off the Summer with not one but two new colorways of the SK8 STA, both of which feature a shiny, patent leather construction
As its namesake implies, BAPE’s SK8 STA borrows heavily from skateboarding culture, its design owed to some of the most popular skate shoes on the market. Even these upcoming styles seem to reference past classics: namely, the “Kentucky” and “Panda” colorways. But though familiar in this respect, these pairs do feature a few notable distinctions. In addition to the patent leather overlays, the sides are adorned with A BATHING APE’s signature STA logo and the base of the upper is covered in relatively subtle, oversized text.
