Jovani Hernandez Launched in 2001, the New Balance 991 champions the brand’s manufacturing presence in the United Kingdom. Recently, the premium silhouette emerged in a “Pacific” and “Alloy” color scheme perfect for year-round wear.
Pig suede panels around the toe, along the tongue, and across the profiles opt for a deep green tone. By contrast, the underlying mesh and leather components favor shades of white and grey. Most of the heel appears in a pitch-dark makeup that further allows for the titular “Pacific” hue to revel in the spotlight. Underfoot, ABZORB-assisted cushioning gets a New Balance-appropriate grayscale arrangement that also claims real estate up-top.
