Sneaker News Jordan Brand continues to Retro the Retros in 2023, ushering back one of the most popular drops of 2006.
The Air Jordan 7 “Chambray” was at the forefront of Jumpman’s AJ7 movement in ’06 as the brand introduced a bevy of new colorway concoctions that mirrored the bold statements made by the silhouette in 1992. In comparison to the “Flint”, “Citrus”, and “Pacific Blue” AJ7s, the “Chambray” is unquestionably the most restrained of the bunch, relying on an all-black nubuck suede upper. The graphite grey and chambray blue add subtle touches on the iconic midsole peaks at the forefoot and heel while flooding the interior bootie of the Huarache-inspired basketball shoe.
First look images that were revealed a few months back pale in comparison to these official images by Nike, Inc.; the nubuck is a deep black, while the blue shade is soft yet effective in its stance.
