The Nike Air Huarache Runner Gets Stealthy In “Anthracite/Black”

The Nike Air Huarache Runner updates Tinker Hatfield’s iconic design from 1991.

Previously seen in a “Light Smoke Grey” ensemble, the new model has recently appeared in an “Anthracite” and “Black” color scheme. Busier and more robust, the Air Huarache Runner features a mesh base layer overlaid with leather panels from forefoot to heel. The plethora of overlays across the upper liken the shoe to performance running models from the late 1990s and early 2000s. A miniature swoosh also lands on the profiles, delivering a big change from Hatfield’s original Nike Air Huarache idea. Underfoot, the updated design keeps its sole unit intact, opting for a uniform pitch-dark finish on the latest offering.

Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, and anticipate a nike.com release soon for $140 USD.
