Nike Commemorates The Houston Comets Four-Peat With A Dunk Low

Nike Commemorates The Houston Comets Four-Peat With A Dunk Low

Headlined by Cynthia Cooper, Sheryl Swoopes and Tina Thompson, the Houston Comets are being recognized by The Swoosh this year with a commemorative collection of footwear dressed in honor of their historic four-straight WNBA Championships. Joining the Air Force 1 in both its mid and low-top form, the Nike Dunk Low is set to celebrate one of the greatest dynasties in all of American sports.

While its latter two counterparts are dressed in either clad white or “Obsidian” hues, the Peter Moore construction falls somewhere in the middle as the pair’s crisp white overlays contrast the deep navy base layer. The dark blue treatment is additionally applied to the sleek nylon tongue and the years dating the four-peat across heel tabs. Additional embroidery pops along the “University Red” trimmed Swoosh while the upcoming collection’s four-fingered insignia appears in light grey stitching at the heel.

Enjoy a detailed look at the upcoming Nike Dunk Low “Houston Comets Four-Peat” below while we await further release details.

In other news from the Beaverton brand, the Air Jordan 3 “Palomino” is scheduled to release on July 29th.
