The Air Jordan 38 Receives What Looks To Be Its First “University Blue” Colorway

After much anticipation as well as several leaks, the Jumpman officially unveiled the Air Jordan 38 this past weekend. And while only three pairs took the stage, there’s surely plenty more expected for later this year, including but certainly not limited to this newly-leaked “University Blue” colorway.

Continuing what is effectively a long-running tradition — all the while paying further homage to MJ’s alma mater — the Air Jordan 38 is now joining the Tar Heels much like many a past signature. Carolina Blues are used throughout the silhouette’s sustainably made upper, highlighting not only its backless embroidery but also the toe box, eye stays, and tongue. Elsewhere, Crimson highlights the outrigger, piping, and tongue, while bright yellows dress the X-Plate underfoot.

Enjoy a closer look at the Air Jordan 38 “University Blue” right here. Currently, there’s no word of release date, though it’s likely one will be announced shortly.

In other news, the Jordan Zion 3 was also revealed this past weekend.
