Over the last three years, a series of old and new color schemes on the performance model has catapulted the design in popularity. And while the pair keeps favoring understated arrangements appropriate of the unshakeable “dad shoe” trend, it’s also emerged in animated ensembles perfect for statement-making. Case in point?: A recent “Pink Glo” outfit.
Akin to other popular styles of the GEL-Kayano 14, the newly-surfaced pair features silver panels all throughout the upper. A breathable mesh base layer harkens back to its performance origins, but take on a vibrant pink hue on the latest style. A contrasting black color appears via branding hits on the upper, interrupting the “Pink Glo” party. Visible GEL-cushioning underfoot, however, brings the upper’s flair down below; select traction zones do the same.
