Sneaker News Since JJJJound’s collaborative release in the 2022, the ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 has become a mainstay for those looking to capture that 2000s runner look that is often mis-categorized as a “dad shoe”. And ASICS is clearly aware, as they’ve upped the production on the 2008 runner consistently over the last eighteen months.
Not to be confused with the recently revealed slightly darker shade of purple with the cream mesh, this Kayano 14 release opts for that classic color-blocking with the metallic silver overlay, black streak accents, and the clean white mesh base layer and midsole. The Dark Grape shade only appears via the heel accent with a matte metallic finish, the inner side of the tongue, the lace lock-down harness, and the exposed GEL cushioning at the insole.
This pair is available now for women directly through ASICS for $150; see the official imagery ahead and stay tuned for a influx of more Kayano 14 options as we enter the Fall season.
