After months of teaser images, the Nike Air Foamposite One “Metallic Red” finally releases on Thursday, July 6th.
Despite a ruby-colored look across the upper, the latest take on “Penny” Hardaway’s iconic signature model features a notable difference from past retros. Unlike versions from 2012 and 2017, the upcoming reissue sees tumbled leather, not nubuck, around the tongue. The updated design deviates from Eric Avar’s blueprint, but the remainder of the offering maintains a familiar and beloved look. “Black” accents complement the “Metallic Red” shell up-top, while an icy outsole supports the bold option underfoot. Versions for kids also boast the same design cues as the pair for adults, making for red-colored Foams that can be enjoyed by the whole family.
Enjoy retailer photography ahead, and find the shoes available via nike.com and other shops on Thursday, July 6th. Pairs are priced as follows: Men’s $240, Grade School $190, Preschool $105, Toddler $80. (All prices are in USD.)
