Jovani Hernandez Over the last three years, New Balance has made changes to its Made In USA program. In the same timespan, the North American company has continued to shine a spotlight on its Made In UK platform, which turned 40 in 2022.
Recently, the brand’s New Balance 576 has emerged in a number of color schemes in celebration of its own 35th anniversary. Traditional navy and grey looks have been accompanied by pairs done in more modern “Green,” “Stone Blue,” and “Bering Sea” options. Premium suede, however, reprises its role on even the least “New Balance” styles from the heritage brand. Performance running elements also return for the NB 576’s retro run, which celebrates 35 years of being produced in Flimby, Cumbria, UK. The cool color-blocking of the latest NB 576 is rounded out by an ENCAP sole unit boasting a traditional grayscale arrangement.
