The ASICS GEL-NYC Returns In A Fall-Friendly “Oatmeal/Forrest” Color Scheme

The ASICS GEL-NYC Returns In A Fall-Friendly “Oatmeal/Forrest” Color Scheme

A new batch of ASICS GEL-NYC drops have dawned on us for the month of July, and today we show you one of the more stand-out pairs of the bunch in terms of color-combinations.

Clearly aiming for that Fall season aesthetic, this upcoming GEL-NYC adapts an orange suede overlay, matched perfectly with olive green on the ASICS logo and the midsole. Acute touches of off-white appear on the mesh underlay and the sole, while the standard matte silver appears in the exterior skeleton of the shoes. These are definitely a competitor in the retro runner category, which is typically populated by New Balance and Nike, but don’t overlook ASICS and this newly designed silhouette.

Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, and anticipate an asics.com launch before the July ends for $130.
