SoleFly x Air Jordan 8 “Diamond Turf” Revealed

Though only three days old, Threads has very quickly become a bustling hub for all things culture. SoleFly founder Carlos Prieto has even taken to the platform to reveal a never-before-seen Air Jordan 8, which ostensibly borrows inspiration from the Nike Air Diamond Turf.

Much like several of the boutique’s past collaborations, the SoleFly x Air Jordan 8 “Diamond Turf” has likely gone through several rounds of samples, two of which are on display here. The first, which is laid front and center, doesn’t clearly read as an homage to the above-mentioned silhouette. Rather, the pair bears a much closer resemblance to the “Playoffs” colorway, albeit with gold hardware, white midsoles, and red lining. The iteration underneath, however, is more overt in its references, borrowing the dark, golden textile signature to the 1994 cross-trainer.

Enjoy a quick peek at the SoleFly x Air Jordan 8 “Diamond Turf” right here. At the time of writing this, Prieto has yet to share any more details regarding the shoe’s release. For now, sit tight and expected further updates soon.

In other news, actual images of the upcoming Nike Kobe 6 Protro Reverse Grinch surfaced earlier this week.

UPDATE 7/7/2023:
