Sneaker News DTLR and New Balance have become extremely familiar with one another over the past five years. Executing a number of inspired styles with the Boston-based banner, the two entities’ latest ensemble hits shelves on July 14th as a successor to one of the Maryland brand’s favorite collaborations of 2022.
A sequel to the dual effort New Balance 990v3, the “Wild Style 2.0” colorway sparingly utilizes the latter’s coloring book aesthetic, reserving the multi-color primary hues for an accented role. “Shadow Grey” tinted mesh underlays are immediately contrasted by the upper’s dominant lush black suede tooling. “Pineapple” yellow N logos shine amongst the aforementioned monochrome backdrop in tandem hits of “Sky Blue”, “Electric Red”, “Chloro Green” and “Cosmic Grape” outfitting the ENCAP foam midsole and various branded embellishments.
