The Nike Air Force 1 Low Enjoys “Game Royal” Flair

The Nike Air Force 1 Low Enjoys “Game Royal” Flair

Bruce Kilgore’s original Nike Air Force 1 design turned 40-years-old in 2022. As history tells it, the sneaker’s low-top counterpart debuted in 1983, which means the Air Force 1 Low is currently celebrating its own 40th anniversary.

As summer gets going, Kilgore’s iconic creation has emerged in handfuls of pastel and bold color schemes. Recently, the latter category added a “Game Royal” option that brings another touch of freshness to the decades-old design. The eye-catching blue tone covers forefoot panels as well as overlays along the tongue, while a navy hue lands on the lower heel. Profile swooshes, upper heel panels, and branding on the tongue label all opt for varying shades of “Football Grey.” Underfoot, the tried-and-proven sole unit keeps things straightforward with a “White” midsole and navy outsole combination.

Enjoy official photos of the Air Force 1 ahead, and anticipate a nike.com launch soon.

In related sneaker news, the Air Jordan 1 “Palomino” is set to release in September.
