“Panda” Invades The Jordan Nu Retro 1

“Panda” Invades The Jordan Nu Retro 1

The Jordan Nu Retro 1 has been supporting the Jumpman banner’s lifestyle collection removed from the retro vein since the Y2K era. Recently, the embossed ensemble joined in on Nike’s obsession with the “Panda” color blocking.

While its crisp white vamp and jet-black nubuck mudguard ostensibly mirror the Air Jordan 1 ’85 “Black/White”, the low-top silhouettes remaining real estate embarks on its own monochrome aesthetic. The forefoot’s flat texture continues on to the mid-foot’s base, heel and tongue construction while the smooth leather heel counter enacts a pitch-dark color match. Elsewhere, the duo of embossed panels featuring the iconic winged Jordan insignia appears in a famous white finish in tandem with its midsole while the tread concludes in a Jumpman synonymous icy blue tread accent.

Enjoy a detailed look at the Jordan Nu Retro 1 “Panda” below as we await further release details.

In other news from the Beaverton brand, the Nike Ja 1 “Halloween” has recently surfaced in first-look imagery.
