Jared Ebanks From DTLR and Beams to atmos, the New Balance 2002R has enjoyed the aid of a number of collaborators throughout the initial summer season. Recently, the aggressively paneled ensemble relaunched its inline offerings with a “Vachetta Leather” accented composition.
While bright white uppers are an unusual sighting for the circa 2010 silhouette, the pictured proposition unearths a light-dominant color blocking as colorless shades envelop the flat leather overlays and vamp. Underfoot, a tonal collection of cream shades collect for a neutral-based contrast in tandem with the exposed foam of the tongue construction. Elsewhere, the oft-tinted effort reserves its decadent “Vachetta Leather” treatment for the mid-foot N logos, tongue tabs and embossed 2002R panels for a premium textile infusion.
