Nike’s Cut-Out Swoosh Air Force 1 Appears In Soft Grey

Nike’s latest inline collection sees its iconic Swoosh receive a Check-sized chunk taken out and placed in an obscure space. Most recently, the ensuing aesthetic took the design knife to a light grey Nike Air Force 1 Low.

Executing the silhouette’s staple “Triple-White” background, the tumbled leather upper pairs with the model’s typical fixings dipped in shadeless color matches. Branding has been stripped away from the insoles for a more uniform look while the “Soft Grey” mid-foot Swoosh imbues the embossed heel tab and tongue to the only hint of color. Revealing a jacquard mesh underlay, the repositioned miniature Swoosh now appears along the medial heel.
