Jared Ebanks Initially released in 2006 as a more avant-garde take on Jordan’s retro catalog, the Air Jordan 5 “Burgundy” has appeared in official imagery ahead of the silhouette’s return to shelves later this summer.
Imbued with a premium level of craftsmanship “Deep Burgundy” hues cures the entirety of the clad-nubuck upper. “Light Graphite” accents dance throughout the upper stitching while dressing the laces and inner linings. The greyscale palette is additionally attributed to the “Metallic Silver” finish of the tongue and heel’s embroidered Jumpman insignia. Underfoot, an icy semi-translucent tread and splatter-paint midsole ring true to the mid-2000s original tooling.
The Air Jordan 5 “Burgundy” is scheduled to release on August 12th in full family sizing. In the meantime, the pair can be seen below in detailed imagery.
