At the end of August, the collective basketball ecosystem around the world will come together to support their countries on the hardwood throughout the 2023 FIBA World Cup. Ahead of the eventual trip to Manila, the Men’s National Team is holding a four-day-long training camp in Las Vegas prior to the start of Group C play on August 25th. Scrimmaging for the first time together, the 12-man roster showed up to the UNLV campus in an expansive assortment of Team USA Player Exclusives.
The Swoosh, Jordan Brand and adidas are well-represented amongst the youthfully talented roster. Kobe Bryant signature endorsers like Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart and Tyrese Haliburton were spotted in bright white takes on the Nike Kobe 6 Protro dressed in a complimentary USA palette while Quentin Grimes flashed a dark navy pair via his IG. Meanwhile, Bobby Portis sported an all-new take within the legendary Nike Kobe 5 “Bruce Lee” series, featuring a white and grey upper, crimson red claw marks and a seldom yellow heel tab.
On the other side of the Beaverton campus, the Jumpman made an appearance in the Sin City via Paolo Banchero and his white, dark blue and red Air Jordan 37 Lows. While Anthony Edwards has been rumored to receive a signature shoe from the 3-Stripes, the 2022-23 All-Star instead flaunted a BYW Select PE, cured in a dominant white mesh upper that opposes a marbled blue outsole underfoot.
