Michael Le As Fall begins to set in, sneaker brands industry wide are beginning to dress their sneakers appropriately. ASICS, of course, is following suit, clothing the GT-2160 — as well as many other silhouettes — in colors indicative of the season.
While not nearly as renowned as the GEL-LYTE III or the GEL-Kayano 14, the ASICS GT-2160 is finally receiving a fair bit of attention thanks to collaborators the likes of Dime, Cecilie Bahnsen, and KITH. As a result, inline offerings such as this newly-released colorway are flying off the shelves, part for the design of the model itself and part for its clean, “Oatmeal” and “Simply Taupe” colorway.
