“Cosmic Rose” Illuminates The New Balance 580

Initially a regional adaptation of the 585, the New Balance 580 has showcased its wide-reaching fanfare over the past few years. Once exclusive to Japan, the Rollbar-assisted model has since drastically expanded its inline compositions, such as this “Cosmic Rose” accented effort.

Striking up a monochrome “Rain Cloud” upper that’s become synonymous with the 9060, the circa 1996 silhouette receives a juxtaposing swatch of pitch-black along the heel’s suede overlay. Elsewhere, the suede and mesh base layer is cured in tonal grey hues from the forefoot to the heel tab while a bright white tint compliments the laces, collar lining and chunky sole unit construction. Surrounded by a sea of greyscale tones, the mid-foot’s seldom appearance of the Rollbar is treated to a titular sky blue while the upper eye stays and profile N logo burst atop the muted backdrop in shades of “Cosmic Rose”.

Enjoy a detailed look at the New Balance 580 “Cosmic Rose” below as we await further release details.
