Back in January, news of Air Max CB ’94 “Black” re-issue stirred up some buzz surrounding Charles Barkley’s most recognizable signature shoe. Today, we bring you a first look at the 2023 version, which is near identical to the last 2020 release.
The photos, from retailer JD Sports, presents the classic 1994 basketball shoe in a near all-black stance, with tumbled leather and suede overlays comprising the bulk of the pair. The signature mesh ventilation holes on the upper — arguably the shoe’s most standout detail — are in place with a silver mesh, while touches of royal blue appear on the visible Air unit on the sole.
If you need an all-black pair of sneakers to stomp around this Fall/Winter 2023 season, look no further than the Air Max CB ’94. A firm release date is currently unknown, but you can expect them in the last quarter of 2023 for $170.
