Jared Ebanks adidas Basketball was in full force throughout the 2000s. Headlined by Tracy McGrady, Kobe Bryant and Gilbert Arenas, the 3-Stripes has divulged a fair amount of resources towards reminiscing on their old-school toolings with contemporary technology, the latest of which comes by way of a pastel-infused Gil Zero Restomod.
Exploring an extremely bespoke palette, the low-top full-grain leather solution experiments with a neutral beige base before the color wheel is enacted in full. The surrounding overlays, glossy heel counter and mudguards are all cured in a bright mint treatment, accented by a lively pink trim and medial mid-foot strap. The BOOST-infused midsole compartmentalizes with the upper’s earth-based tones while the heel counter strikes up a quartet of multi-color star graphics.
The adidas Gil Zero Restomod “Hurricane” is currently available overseas in China. As we await news regarding a stateside drop, the pair can be seen in detailed imagery below.
