Nike’s Color Of The Month Collection Taps Into The Air Force 1’s “Triple Black” Energy

Nike’s Color Of The Month Collection Taps Into The Air Force 1’s “Triple Black” Energy

The Air Force 1’s Color of The Month series is still going strong after a year’s worth of releases and renovated color blockings. However, the Bruce Kilgore design’s sleeker 1984 construction has strayed away from the meme-heavy “Triple Black” colorway, that is until now – albeit affixed with jewel swooshes.

From the upper’s clad buttery-soft tumbled leather to the thick nylon laces and rubber midsole, the entirety of the upcoming composition is draped in jet-black hues, save the crisp white old-school Nike branding inscribed along the insoles. A stark contrast to the collections, white-dominant uppers and colorful swooshes, here the jewel checks peek into a pitch-dark abyss imbued with a glossy finish.

Enjoy a detailed look at the Nike Air Force 1 “Jewel Black” below courtesy of official retail images while we await further release details.

In other news from the Beaverton brand, the KD 16 “Aunt Pearl” releases on October 14th.
