Jared Ebanks Throughout the past few years, Nike has been matching the wants of its female consumer base with a strategic push toward combining elevated sole units with the brand’s most widely appreciated models. Continuing to offer up a disparate array of Air Jordan 1’s, the latter’s High-top Elevate construction now explores a pitch-dark patent leather look.
Bringing a splash of high-fashion aesthetics to the lofted silhouette, the patent leather construction imbues a synonymous connection with the supple tooling of high-heel boots. Jet-black shades featuring a high-gloss finish cure every single inch of the upper, from the structured stitching to the inner linings and branded embellishments. Nearly resembling a duck boot with the darkness further overtaking the midsole, the tread underfoot assumes a striking “Gum” contrast.
Enjoy a detailed look at the women’s-exclusive Air Jordan 1 High Elevate “Black/Gum” below while we await further release details.
In other news from underneath the Beaverton banner, the Jordan 5 “Midnight” recently surfaced in retail images.
