Sneaker News As of the publishing of this article, Damian Lillard is still a member of the Portland Trail Blazers. The franchise’s all-time leading scorer, Lillard has been loyal to Portland’s process in building a championship contending team, but that journey has seen little fruit since his debut eleven seasons ago. Now entering his twelfth, Dame is looking to extending his playing time for a different team, although it hasn’t been easy looking for suitors that are willing to give up the necessary assets to facilitate a deal.
So, it seems that Lillard — and his new shoe, the adidas DAME 8 EXTPLY (previewed at All-Star Weekend) — will be in a Trail Blazers uni to start the 2023-2024 season, barring an unforeseen chain of events. Beginning September 1st, the DAME 8 EXTPLAY, which exists as an extension to the chief signature model, will release in four colorways. It begins with the “Tennis”, dressed appropriately in a monochromatic bright yellow/green to mimic the sport’s fuzzy ball. The blue/orange “Out Of This World” launches on September 15th, while the “Most Criticized” will touch down on October 1st. The fourth has yet to be revealed.
