Jovani Hernandez The last decade has seen NIKE, Inc. pay closer attention to its youngest consumers, prepping special makeups engineered specifically for this segment of the market.
Recently, the Oregon-based company unveiled the “Ready, Play!” collection, a lineup of footwear products meant to encourage children to stay active. Nike Sportswear classics like the Air Max 1 and Air Force 1 Low form part of the collection, which has also employed Kevin Durant’s latest signature model. Each offering from the upcoming capsule features a collection-specific emblem on the tongue, which also nods to the upcoming fall season. Varying shades of green, grey, and brown take on the kids’ options, but a rich yellow hue animates profile swooshes on the unreleased batch of sneakers. As with other projects from the Swoosh, the upcoming styles also contribute to the brand’s “Move to Zero” initiative, an effort to reduce carbon emissions and upcycle existing materials to help the planet.
Enjoy official photos of the latest “Ready, Play!” offerings ahead, and anticipate a nike.com launch soon.
