ORIGINAL STORY August 30th, 2023

There’s no arguing that Travis Scott was instrumental in the return of the Nike Mac Attack. Alongside his previous history with the tennis shoe, La Flame stood alongside John McEnroe to officially reintroduce the sneaker to the masses.

And well before McEnroe’s signature was brought back to the shelves, Travis Scott stepped on stage in a very special, collaborative set of Mac Attacks, which featured the Reverse Check signature to his on-going partnership with the Swoosh. Now, after months of anticipation, it seems this pair will soon be releasing, as official images have finally surfaced.

Paying homage to what came before, the Travis Scott x Nike Mac Attack boasts an intentional resemblance to the silhouette’s original colorway. Much like its predecessor, the collaboration is dressed almost entirely in a light grey, with black applied not only to the mesh insert along the toe but also the leathers that wrap the collar, Swoosh, and lower heel. The “Cactus Jack” logo embroidered onto the shoe’s spine is threaded in the same neutral, while the woven label and “NIKE” further echo the look of the OG.

Enjoy a closer look, detailed look at the Travis Scott x Nike Mac Attack via the official images ahead. These are currently expected to release on December 19th, hitting Nike SNKRS and likely select retailers.
