The ASICS GEL-Lyte III has boasted a cult-like following since launching in 1991 thanks to its split-tongue design, color schemes, and comfort. Throughout the 2010s, the silhouette saw a resurgence in popularity thanks to special collaborations with the likes of Ronnie Feig.

Recently, the Kith-frontman brought an industry-bending partnership to Shigeyuki Mitsui’s 32-year-old design, but the GEL-Lyte III continues to appear in compelling general styles. Case in point?: A “Mustard Seed/Cream/Black”-colored offering perfect for autumn. Unlike the original version of ASICS’ running sneaker, the latest option indulges in a full-leather construction. Midsole cushioning favors an “aged” and “worn” aesthetic that falls in line with some high-end footwear on the market. Lastly, the tried-and-proven outsole enjoys a semi-translucent gum finish that compliments the remainder of the ensemble well.
