Nike officially announced student-athlete Paige Bueckers as the newest Nike Basketball athlete.
Paige Bueckers has captured the Women’s basketball spotlight since she first burst into the national scene during her high school years. Her talents directed her to the legendary UConn women’s basketball program, where she dazzled for two seasons before being sidelined with an ACL injury. While the recovery process is still not over, Bueckers still serves as an inspiration to young hoopers across the nation.
With professional basketball most definitely in her future (possibly with her hometown Minnesota Lynx), Bueckers will be sporting nothin’ but Nike. To start off, Paige will join an esteemed roster of Basketball athletes to wear the upcoming G.T. Hustle 2, the newest member of the Greater Than series; the Hustle 2 is set to release later this Fall season in three upcoming colorways.
With Sabrina Ionescu launching her own signature shoe earlier this month, the door is now open for Bueckers to potentially her own model somewhere down the line.
