The Air Jordan 1 “Mocha” from 2020 served as a contemporary turning point for the Beaverton banner’s retro offerings. As Jumpman looked toward an infusion of brown scale colorways, the Air Jordan 1 “Palomino” served as the unofficial sequel earlier this month. Come next summer, Michael Jordan’s first signature silhouette embarks upon a third autumnal aesthetic featuring lightened hits of “Latte”.
As the second installment within the banner’s coffee-centered offerings, the “Latte” coated offering executes the same exact color blocking as its “Mocha” counterpart. Crisp white hues animate the base of the silhouette at the vamp, mid-foot panel and upper collar while jet-black contrasts inject a monochrome fervor across the various upper overlays, winged insignia and the profile swooshes. What’s more, the silhouette’s mainstay treatment of “Legend Medium Brown” cures the collar overlay and heel counter before a “Sail” anchored midsole imbues a bit of nostalgia underfoot.
The women’s-exclusive Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Latte” is scheduled to release in Summer 2024 for a retail price of $180. In the meantime, enjoy a first look at the upcoming color blocking below.
In other news, the LeBron 21 “Abalone” recently surfaced.
