Jared Ebanks Just over a year removed from its 35th anniversary and the Air Jordan 13 is still providing the ecosystem with a consistent stream of all-new inline offerings. For its latest effort, the circa 1996 composition executes a striking purple-infused retro for the youth.
Ahead of Halloween, the silhouette prepares a pitch-dark flipped color blocking of the famed “Court Purple” colorway. Jet-black shades take a back seat on the high-top trim by filling the tumbled leather mudguard and tongue construction alongside the suede heel counter. Further eery color matches appear within the oval laces and tread while the midsole pucks shine in a seldom white appearance. What’s more, the dimpled upper overlay has been transitioned to an outdoor-friendly mesh textile that shines in “Purple Venom” alongside the inner lining, the tongue’s Jumpman and the hybrid heel logo
According to the Finish Line calendar, the grade school-exclusive Air Jordan 13 “Purple Venom” is expected to release on October 2nd. Enjoy a detailed look at the pair in pre-school sizing while we await the pair’s arrival in toddler sizes as well.
