Nike Recognizes The Annual Ryder Cup With Special Air Max 1 Golf Release

At the end of the month, the best golfers from both the USA and Europe will face off in the annual Ryder Cup. After treating the Air Max 1’s golf-centric tooling to a USA-inspired outfit, the green-ready effort now embarks on a European-tinted homage.

Serving as the second half to the upcoming Ryder Cup pack, the European-composed pair undergoes a much more understated aesthetic when compared to its States-side counterpart – save the continents’ synonymous yellow stars. Crisp white hues illuminate the clad-leather base layer while light grey overlays provide an animated look to the layered upper. A striking set of yellows achieves a vibrant appearance amidst a sea of monochrome tones, curing the eyestays, inner lining and the full-length mudguard. Elsewhere, the profile swooshes are cast in a dark navy blue contrast while luminous sky blue shades bring a final titular swatch to the heel logo, pull tab and the interior Max Air cushioning system.
