The adidas Crazy IIInfinity was unveiled in February as part of the brand’s futuristic basketball footwear lineup. Since then, the spiritual successor to the late Kobe Bryant’s The KOBE signature series has appeared in several styles, which now include a “Triple Black” option.
Set to debut exclusively via New Jersey’s Packer Shoes on September 22nd before dropping at more retailers next month, the stealthy option keeps all of its retro-futurist details intact. The “Triple Black” finish on adidas‘ silhouette delivers a versatile aesthetic that further marries style and function. Debossed 3-Stripes on the molded sidewalls harken back to the early aughts, while the zippered shroud bring a modern touch to the hoops-inspired silhouette. Part of the zipper and rubber accent underfoot slightly interrupt the pitch-dark finish that surrounds them. All together, the aforementioned components help expand adidas Basketball’s legacy.
Enjoy detailed photography of the pair ahead. The Crazy IIInfinity “Triple Black” debuts exclusively in-store and online at packershoes.com on Friday, September 22nd, for $160 USD. A wide retailer and adidas.com release is expected sometime in October.
