Coinciding with his second All-Star appearance, Ja Morant’s first signature silhouette has explored the near entirety of the Pantone wheel since the model’s release in February. As the Beaverton brand’s most cost-effective signature, the Nike Ja 1 is broadening the palette once more ahead of the 2023-24 NBA season featuring a compelling collection of both pastels and neutrals.
Initially revealed back in July, the “Guava Ice” effort sees a faint tan hue consume the near-entirety of the mesh upper – save the clarifying jet-black contrasts lining the tongue tab, the inner liner and tread underfoot. Sandy color matches appear across the laces and tongue construction while a crisp white midsole balances out the greyscale treatment underfoot. Set atop a logo-centric heel counter cast in a “Light Ultramarine” background, the connecting profile swooshes are anchored in a “Medium Soft Pink” finish.
The Nike Ja 1 “Guava Ice” is expected to release in the coming weeks. In the meantime, the pair can be seen in detailed imagery below.
For more from underneath the Nike Basketball banner, the LeBron 21 “Melon Tint” recently surfaced.
