The Y2K-Appropriate Nike P-6000 Returns In A “Coconut Milk” Look

The Y2K-Appropriate Nike P-6000 Returns In A “Coconut Milk” Look

The Nike P-6000 is set to return in full force soon, furthering the brand’s pursuit of the Y2K trend.

Reminiscent of the Zoom Vomero 5, which has resurged in popularity over the last year, the P-6000 is a hybrid silhouette rooted in 2000s style. Informed by both the Pegasus 25 and Pegasus 2006, the sneaker features a mesh base overlaid with a series of synthetic leather and suede panels. “Metallic Silver” and “Coconut Milk” take on the latest P-6000 offering, working with “Black” and “Summit White” tones to deliver a versatile and retro aesthetic. Underfoot, the chiseled midsole keeps things simple in color scheme and technology, as Zoom Air and Cushlon branding don’t appear on the retro design. Waffle-patterned traction appears underneath the forefoot, further harkening back to Nike Running history. The “Coconut Milk”-covered option dons “Bowerman Series” text on the tongue, denoting the shoe as part of the brand’s line of products inspired by Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman.

Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, and expect a launch via nike.com come the holiday season.

In related sneaker news, the Air Max family continues to expand.
