Dime Helps Vans Skateboarding Reintroduce The Rowley XLT

feature image

Montreal’s Dime is something of a free agent, having collaborated with adidas, ASICS, and now Vans all within the same year.

This time around, Dime and Vans Skateboarding are ushering in the return of an archival favorite: the Rowley XLT. The latest installment in the footwear icon’s “Reanimation Series,” the project aims to recreate the original silhouette to a 1:1 spec, complete with all the same tech that outfitted the sneaker back in 2001. Even the colors are familiar, as the skate brand themselves requested a “pure reanimation” of the navy colorway. That’s not to say the shoe is without tweaks, as “Dime” branding is applied to both the heel counter and tongue.

Dime has also crafted an exclusive “Birch” colorway of the Vans Rowley XLT. This more limited offering will be releasing first on September 29th at the Dime x Vans Paris pop-up and then again on Sept. 30th via DimeMTL.com. The “Navy” will follow on Oct. 5th, hitting select Vans Skateboarding retailers.

In other news, official images of the AMBUSH Air More Uptempo Low Lilac have surfaced.
