While it remains to be seen what organization Damian Lillard will suit up for during the 2023-24 NBA Season, adidas has inflated the seven-time All-Star’s footwear presence with a duo of budget-friendly models draped in a range of color blockings fit for over a dozen of the League’s teams. Set atop a Bounce cushioning system, the Dame Certified 2.0 now explores an overtly eye-catching display of “Lucid Lemon” hues.
Falling in line with the neon-heavy outfits of middle schoolers, the silhouette’s midsole construction is treated to the titular citrus tint in full alongside the expansive stitched leather overlays. Composing a stark contrast throughout the mesh textile above, a clad treatment of “Silver Green” anchors the textile base and tongue tab while further lime accents illuminate the inner lining and lace loops in seldom. What’s more, the striking palette underfoot is amplified via a crisp white tread and the appearance of both 3-Stripes and Dame logos affixed to the heel.
The adidas Dame Certified 2.0 “Lucid Lemon” is scheduled to release on October 1st for a retail price of $90. In the meantime, the pair can be seen in detailed imagery below.
