The Ja 1 “Day One” Releases On October 13th

The Ja 1 “Day One” Releases On October 13th

Ja Morant and the Swoosh are moving forward with their partnership, teasing more styles of the Nike Ja 1. Ahead of the 2023-24 NBA season, the burgeoning collaborators have delivered an official look at a mostly “Soft Pink” offering.

Branded with “12:AM” text all around the heel, the sneaker is rooted in Morant’s affinity to put in work when everyone else is sleeping. A mix of textile and leather construction across the upper takes on the titular “Soft Pink” hue, bringing some of summer into the colder months of the year. “Diffused Blue” enters the mix via the profile swooshes, tongue labels, and upper spine panels, seemingly a nod to the 24-year-old’s Memphis Grizzlies squad. Underfoot, the sole unit enjoys a light blue color combination that includes semi-translucent, icy traction. Each aforementioned component is identical to a pair Morant gifted to a fan back in January, which more people will soon be able to enjoy.

Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, and anticipate a nike.com launch before 2023 ends.
