Alongside the brand’s Reimagined series, the Jumpman banner has simultaneously been transitioning OG color blockings onto all-new silhouettes that have, up until this point, held no form of a connection. From the Air Jordan 12 “Cherry” to the “Red Cement 4s, the Air Jordan 6 now explores its first connection with the famed “Aqua” treatment.
Synonymous with the Air Jordan 8 from 1993, the lively aqua tone accent connects with a second Jordan Retro in 2023 after previously releasing via the Air Jordan 5 in February. Much like its 1990 counterpart, the Jordan 8 cohabitates with pitch-dark dominance as jet-black nubuck builds out the near entirety of the upper real estate, save the seldom “Bright Concord” hits along the lace lock, embroidered shroud and heel tab. Underfoot, the latter tint consumes the midsole while a complimentary set of “Aquatone” and semi-translucent swatches of ice blue further illuminate the proposition from below.
The Air Jordan 6 “Aqua” is scheduled to release tomorrow, October 7th, in adult sizing for a retail price of $200 via the store list below. In the meantime, the pair can be seen one last time ahead.
In other news, the SB Dunk Low “Fog” debuts on October 20th via the SNKRS app.
